Weather Resistance and Anti-aging Properties: PE can withstand a maximum temperature of about 70°C, while PET is much more resilient, withstanding up to 240°C.

The PE protective film is predominantly used for temporary surface protection for aluminum window and door profiles, glass, and various building materials. Its softness allows it to conform better to the surfaces it protects, making it suitable for both general material and rough surfaces like carpets. However, it is not suitable for high-temperature environments and may degrade under prolonged sunlight exposure, which is why it is recommended to be removed promptly, particularly in hotter climates to avoid adhesive residue.

In contrast, PET protective films often feature a double-layer composite structure. The initial layer is a standard PET film that can support customized LOGOs, while the second layer uses aluminized PET for shading and sealing protection. This combination helps prevent fading and aging of profiles, making it particularly suitable for PVC/UPVC profiles exposed to high UV intensity and temperature fluctuations.
